Cleaning Engineering Internship

Responsibilities
Support projects to maintain and improve the cleaning monitoring program
Review data from cleaning and sterilization procedures, and create charts/graphs from data
Review historical data from cleaning and sterilization practices onsite
Work with team to ensure changes to SOPs are in line with FDA and Novo Nordisk requirements
Gain basic of understanding for manufacturing equipment and utilities onsite including a variety of skids, tanks, washers, piping systems, and other assorted systems
Calculate maximum allowable carry over values for various soils and cleaning solutions in each equipment
Coordinate with other departments to gather feedback and schedule meetings as needed
Review SOPs from other Novo Nordisk sites and compare to local site practices, flag potential areas for improvement
Perform 'go look see' in sterile/cleanroom manufacturing areas when problems arise
Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be currently attending an accredited four-year college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a related STEM field, engineering major is preferred
Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
