Responsibilities
Oversee AP, AR, Payroll, and General Ledger activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all financial operations
Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements, reporting packages, and the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) in accordance with GAAP and GASB standards
Develop, implement, and enforce organization-wide accounting policies and internal controls to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
Drive process improvements across financial systems, including optimization and integration within the cloud‑based ERP environment
Provide leadership, coaching, and development to a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
CPA required
Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience, including at least 3 years of supervisory responsibilities
Proven experience overseeing AP, AR, Payroll, and Financial Reporting functions, including ACFR preparation and audit coordination
Strong knowledge of GAAP, GASB, internal controls, and governmental or public-sector accounting standards preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems (ORACLE, SAP or similar) and financial reporting tools; strong analytical and communication skills
