Responsibilities

Assist with off-the-field activities of student-athletes, including but not limited to providing advice and counsel related to life skills, academic success, personal development, and community involvement and engagement, and help with the leadership council
Help monitor academic progress in direct collaboration with academic services support staff
Support the mentor program, The Georgia Way programming, and letterman programming and engagement
Assist football coaching staff with on-campus recruiting, including but not limited to providing tours, producing and conducting presentations and enhancing the relationship building process between coaches and other campus guests
Other duties as assigned

NCAA complianceMicrosoft OfficeRecruiting knowledgeLeadership supportCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Experience as a student-athlete, support staff, or coach of a Division I football program
Familiarize and compliant with NCAA and SEC rules
Ability to communicate and organize schedules
Ability to stay up to date with recruiting current events and keep coaches informed
Understand computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Willingness to work nights and/or weekends and holidays
