Responsibilities
Design and 3D model of new injection molds producing high quality models and drawings
Mold layout, cooling, ejection and detailed designs
Understanding and interpreting mold filling simulations and cooling analyses
Document and release work instructions and models to manufacturing personnel in support of new mold designs
Qualification
Required
5+ years of designing plastic injection molds
5+ years 3D modeling experience required (SolidWorks or similar preferred)
3+ years 3 axis CNC programming (CamWorks preferred)
Broad knowledge of standard mold components
Preferred
BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or related field
