InternSouthland Industries is seeking a BIM/VDC intern to join their Virtual Design and Construction team in the Mid-Atlantic region. This role involves assisting senior staff with design tasks, performing deliverables related to HVAC systems, and helping to develop and enforce BIM standards.

Responsibilities
Assist Senior BIM/VDC in design tasks as required
Perform basic deliverables and products such as calculations, drawings, and specifications related to heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems under supervision of Senior Engineers
Interprets client proposed BIM requirements for projects, provides feedback and budgeting to the divisions
Responsible for BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement
Review applicable codes and criteria and examine field conditions as required to support design of project
