Responsibilities

Manage highly available network infrastructure across AWS and on‑premises data centers
Troubleshoot AWS Cloud WAN connectivity, including segmentation, routing policies, and integration with existing enterprise networks
Operate and optimize Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, and security policies to ensure secure and compliant network operations
Manage enterprise routing and switching platforms (BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, MPLS, etc.) to support scalable and resilient connectivity
Troubleshoot complex network issues across cloud, data center, and hybrid environments with a focus on minimizing production impact
Collaborate with SRE, Cloud Engineering, Security, and Application teams to deliver reliable and secure infrastructure solutions
Implement automation for network provisioning, monitoring, and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python
Monitor network performance, capacity, and reliability, drive improvements through proactive analysis and optimization
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Work with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve system performance
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to AWS infrastructure and services, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption
Collaborate with the Major Incident Management team to address and resolve critical issues in the production environment
Participate in incident response activities, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews
Work closely with the DevOps and Cloud Software Platform team to ensure the successful transition of services to Production Engineering
Stay updated on the latest AWS DevOps services, features, and best practices
Continuously seek opportunities to improve support processes and cloud infrastructure

Required

Strong hands‑on experience with AWS networking services, especially AWS Cloud WAN, Transit Gateway, VPC design, Direct Connect, and network security controls
Deep expertise with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, security policies, and threat prevention technologies
Advanced knowledge of routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, VRFs, and modern data‑center fabrics
Experience supporting large‑scale production environments with high availability and low latency requirements
Proficiency with network automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, Etc
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Experience with any of the following cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Exposure to monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace
AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking, or Security
Knowledge of networking and security principles
