Requires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, must have composite repair experience

Receives technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician

Enter relevant data in aircraft logs and records

Required

3+ years of experience in an aircraft composite repair role

3+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical composite component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts

3+ years of experience in aircraft structural modifications and repair

3+ years of experience with aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, micro bonder, vacuum gauges, heat blankets

3+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications

3+ years of experience with prioritizing workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects

Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload

Preferred

Experience presenting to leadership, internal and external customers

Experience with developing and maintaining partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peers
