Responsibilities
Develop and design the architecture of the Power BI platform, Power Automate, and Power Apps, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices
Create efficient and scalable dimensional data models that facilitate data analysis and reporting
Lead the development of dynamic and interactive dashboards that provide valuable insights to stakeholders
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to integrate Power BI with various data sources and systems
Identify and implement strategies to optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards
Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and industry standards
Advise on BI strategy and roadmaps, aligning business needs with technology advancements
Provide training and support to end-users and junior team members, promoting effective use of Power BI tools
Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, configurations, and project specifications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Proven experience as a BI Architect or similar role, with 5-7 years experience in Power BI
Strong expertise in full Microsoft BI Suite, data modeling, DAX, and Power Query
Experience with SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and integrating Power BI with various data sources
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Experience with Azure data services and cloud technologies
Familiarity with other BI tools and platforms
Power BI certification is a plus
