Computer Aided Design Engineer
RectorSeal is a fast-growing HVAC manufacturer in Greater Houston, seeking a detail-oriented CAD Engineer to support their Engineering team. The role involves developing CAD models and 3D assemblies for HVAC products, ensuring documentation accuracy and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain CAD models and 3D assemblies for HVAC components
Produce detailed part, assembly, and fabrication drawings
Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the ERP system
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and other cross-functional teams
Ensure drawings and models meet industry standards and internal quality requirements
Support engineering change processes and documentation updates
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field
Two years of CAD modeling and drafting experience
Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD tools
Experience using ERP systems for BOM creation and management
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
HVAC or mechanical manufacturing experience
