Responsibilities

Develop, modify, and enhance in-house software applications
Write, test, and deploy software modifications to meet business needs
Collaborate with other developers and IT staff to design and implement new features
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system stability
Work closely with business analysts and users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Provide technical support and guidance to other IT team members
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Perform analysis needed to support the multiple areas of the business in their day-to-day use of applications
Troubleshoot, identify, and fix application bugs
Support the systems after-hours as part of the on-call rotation
Follow IT change management process
Collaborate with the Solutions Architect on projects that span multiple technologies and systems

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
3 years of experience as a software developer/engineer/analyst
3 years of experience in computer software development using vb.net or C#
3 years of experience developing in WinForms or WPF
Demonstrated experience in the food processing or manufacturing industries
Demonstrated experience with the software development life cycle
