Responsibilities
Work within an integrated product team of Hardware, Software, Systems, and Test Engineers to maintain and update Air Force Flight Simulators
Research and troubleshoot solutions to a variety of technical issues
Develop software solutions for flight simulator discrepancies and upgrades
Support requirements analysis, design, development, integration and test of real-time software
Support system design and architecture development for complex systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field
Demonstrated proficiency with at least one modern software language such as C++, C, C# and/or Java. (Preferably C++)
U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration
This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin
Preferred
Software development on a Linux and/or Windows operating system
Strong understanding and working knowledge of Object Oriented concepts
Experience with any of the following: Flight Simulation, Weapons, Avionics, Electronic Warfare, Radar; Flight Dynamics
Experience with agile methodologies
Use of Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence)
Experience with Fortran or Ada
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (HW, SE, I&T)
Docker, Ansible, GitLab, DOORs, Cameo, Rhapsody
