Start in 2026 SummerWillkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for an Infrastructure Security Intern to join their 2026 Summer Internship program to support the Information Technology department. The intern will participate in various projects related to application security initiatives, security alerts, and vulnerability research while gaining valuable hands-on IT experience in a law firm environment.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
Support application security initiatives and related remediation activities
Review and handle security alerts
Develop security detection rules
Conduct vulnerability research and follow up with stakeholders on remediation progress
Create documentation for processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Ability to work from June through August
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in IT Security/Cyber Security or similar field
Experience in coding/scripting, networking
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances
Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals
Ability to moderate objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance
Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 25 lbs
