Responsibilities
Designing and implementing backend services that support high availability, scalability, and long-term maintainability
Building and evolving APIs used across multiple internal and external applications
Contributing to cloud-native architectures deployed in modern cloud environments
Collaborating with architects and senior engineers to translate system designs into robust, production-ready code
Improving reliability, observability, and performance of core platform services
Participating in architectural discussions and influencing technical direction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
At least 5 years of professional experience building backend or cloud-based systems
Proven ability to design and implement production-grade services
Comfort engaging directly with senior engineers and architects in technical discussions
Demonstrated ownership of features or systems from concept through deployment
Preferred
Professional experience with Go, or strong experience in Java, .NET, or comparable backend languages
Hands-on experience deploying applications in Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS
Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Understanding of OAuth 2.0 concepts and modern authentication patterns
Experience working in distributed systems or service-oriented architectures
