Start in 2026 SummerWillkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for an UX/UI Web Developer Intern to join our 2026 Summer Internship program to support the Information Technology department. This role provides an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on IT experience in a law firm environment by assisting in the design and development of user interfaces.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3,Grid, and Flexbox to create visually appealing and functional web experiences
Knowledgeable of concepts and practice of responsive web sites using Bootstrap, CSS3, media queries, HTML5
Use UI prototypes and wireframes to communicate design concepts to stakeholders
Willing to take direction and bring new and innovative ideas to the team
Qualification
Required
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar field
Ability to work from June through August
Proficiency in both Mac and Windows based platforms
Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Intellectually curious and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Maintain confidential information at all times
Assist in the design and development of user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, Grid, and Flexbox
Knowledgeable of concepts and practice of responsive web sites using Bootstrap, CSS3, media queries, HTML5
Use UI prototypes and wireframes to communicate design concepts to stakeholders
Willing to take direction and bring new and innovative ideas to the team
Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances
Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals
Ability to moderate objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance
Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 25 lbs
Preferred
Experience with JavaScript, Figma, Adobe CS, and responsive web design
Experience with black box, end-to-end and various other types of testing methods
Experience with Asana or other tracking tool
Experience using UI Prototyping tools like Figma or Sketch
