They are seeking a hands-on Quality Supervisor to lead second shift quality performance in a manufacturing environment, ensuring production standards are met and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily activities of quality team leaders, technicians, and inspectors during second shift operations
Set clear expectations, align team goals with production targets, and ensure commitments are achieved
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
Ensure smooth handoffs between shifts and maintain alignment with first shift quality initiatives
Communicate updates, priorities, and performance trends effectively across teams
Lead product and process verification activities to support ongoing change management efforts
Oversee designated manufacturing areas, ensuring compliance with established quality standards
Participate in internal and external audits, preparing documentation and supporting audit readiness
Apply lessons learned from previous shift improvements to strengthen second shift execution
Define key performance indicators and monitor quality metrics to assess process health
Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Use statistical tools to support objective, data-driven decision making
Create visual performance dashboards and reports that clearly communicate results
Conduct root cause investigations and document findings to improve long-term quality performance
Implement corrective and preventive actions that eliminate repeat issues and strengthen process controls
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of formal Quality Management Systems
Familiarity with core quality tools such as control plans, PFMEA, SPC, and related methodologies
Experience applying structured problem-solving approaches in a manufacturing environment
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in manufacturing or quality roles required
Prior leadership or supervisory exposure in a production setting is highly valued
Preferred
Yellow Belt certification or equivalent exposure to Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
Understanding of welding processes and related quality considerations
Experience in regulated or high-specification manufacturing industries
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical or scientific discipline preferred
Equivalent hands-on experience in a manufacturing quality environment will also be considered
