Responsibilities

Own all aspects of mobile app development (cross-platform) from architecture to App Store deployment

Design and implement the cloud backend, including user accounts, data storage, and subscription billing

Build and maintain the BLE communication layer between the DOJO Air device and the mobile app

Develop real-time data visualization and biofeedback interfaces for breath training sessions

Collaborate closely with firmware and hardware engineering to define and refine the device-to-app protocol

Architect for scalability, reliability, and a seamless user experience from first unboxing through daily use

Establish CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and development best practices as the foundation of the software team

Contribute to product strategy and roadmap decisions as a key technical voice on a small team

Required

A startup mindset: self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to own outcomes across the full stack

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience

Strong experience building and shipping cross-platform mobile apps (React Native or Flutter)

Experience with cloud backends (AWS, GCP, Firebase, or Supabas), RESTful APIs, and database design

Familiarity with subscription/in-app purchase billing (Stripe, RevenueCat, or platform-native)

Ability to balance quick iteration with clean, maintainable architecture

Preferred

Ideally, experience in relevant areas: BLE / IoT device integration, health & wellness apps, real-time data streaming, Nordic Semiconductor (nRF52) ecosystems, or consumer connected products
