Auburn University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented TES - RFID Lab Technician to perform RFID in-store testing and audits. The role involves fieldwork at partner locations, including RFID tag audits and data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scale RFID deployments.

Responsibilities

Perform data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scale RFID deployments
RFID tagging items in a retail environment and then doing tests with a RFID reader to determine the quality and readability of the tags
Perform in-store barcode/inventory audits
May occasionally participate in in-lab demonstrations and testing
Perform data collection and data analysis to investigate the performance of large scale RFID deployments
Operate, maintain and trouble-shoot RF test equipment
Occasionally travel to partner locations outside of the Auburn area

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience with RF equipment

Ability to work nights, weekends and travel
