The Customer Data Management Coordinator is responsible for managing customer product data requests, data collection, and entry to support eCommerce channels and traditional sales. Responsibilities
Manage attribute data collection and publication to sales and customers, to support item set-up process
Work with PIM & other internal systems to extract item attribute data and populate item set-up sheets, using customer specific templates and on-line systems
Work with internal business team resources to collect item attribute data for new products
Participate in content audits of key customer websites, and work with the internal business partners to review, update, and maintain the integrity and quality of item data
Meet strict deadlines for monthly and quarterly reports, ad hoc reports, and local project management
Use collected and analyzed data to create informative, engaging presentations for management as needed
Analyze and correct data and operational issues, conduct analyses, update office manuals, user guides, catalog price increases, and other sales/marketing related tasks
Actively collaborate with PIM Manager to continuously streamline and improve the process and the internal product data repository
Work closely with sales and key accounts to understand specific requirements and implications of new customer and existing customer toolkit submissions
Work with industry experts to anticipate and understand changes to GDSN process, including new customer partners and system changes
May eventually include management of Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), including item data submission, leveraging PIM systems and syndication
Item data management activities for company owned sites as needed
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in business information systems, marketing or a related field is required, or an associate degree in a relevant field with 2-4 years of experience. (Marketing, data entry, sales administration, customer service)
Ability to establish and maintain project timelines, meet deadlines
Ability to manage competing priorities and timeframes
Proficiency with computer software is required in this job, knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel at an Intermediate level proficiency.(Order entry/database knowledge, and experience with GDSN/1WorldSync, would be a plus)
Data management coordinators must be highly organized, possess keen attention to detail, in addition to having strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Prior experience in a similar role, customer service, inside sales and/or product data role is ideal
