Responsibilities
Research an open-source database technologies compatible with Windows and Linux
Develop a small application (C++, Java, or Python) to read, store and retrieve data
Document findings, design decisions, and usage
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in a Software or Computer Engineering program at an accredited college or university
Due to security requirements, this position requires US Citizenship
Preferred
Programming experience (Python, C++, Java)
Basic understanding of databases, SQL
Familiarity with Windows & Linux environment
Strong problem-solving skills
Must be motivated and have a strong desire to learn
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in team environment
