Responsibilities

Work under supervision to design, execute, analyze, interpret and troubleshoot scientific experiments in biochemistry and molecular biology
Accurately maintain written reports and present results in an organized and timely manner to research team
Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors, foster teamwork and contribute to collaborative efforts
Strong commitment to quality in research and presentation

Molecular biologyMammalian cell cultureProtein expression platformsData analysis softwareOrganizational skills

Required

Skills in molecular biology, including vector design and plasmid purification, are required
Experience in mammalian cell culture and sterile technique is required
Bachelor's Degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology or related area
Recent graduates or candidates with 1-3 years of laboratory experience are encouraged to apply
Highly motivated, creative, and devoted to project goals
Ability to collaborate proficiently and communicate effectively with colleagues
Ability to contribute in a meaningful way to scientific discourse

Preferred

Additional experience in protein expression platforms (i.e. HEK, CHO, or E. coli) and purification techniques, HPLC and/or LC-MS is advantageous, but not required
Experience preparing and presenting scientific data using data analysis and visualization software such as Prism and Excel is important
Outstanding organizational and note-keeping skills are important
