Responsibilities
Follow instructions to machine, fabricate, or assemble parts to print and operation sheet specifications using CNC machines
Interpret CAD data, prints and sketches regarding fabrication and follow written instructions
Inspect parts prior to submission and as they are produced using standard gages, micrometers, indicators, vernier calipers, depth gages, and other measuring devices to ensure conformity to specifications
Select and install proper cutting tools, zero in the machine to control and make other necessary setup adjustments
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in an accredited college with a major in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Ability to read and interpret blueprints (experience with a program such as CAD, etc.)
Basic understanding of technical process concepts
Must be a US Citizen
This position will require the ability to obtain a government security clearance
Preferred
Ability to communicate and follow detailed technical instructions
Desired candidate would have experience with Mazatrol/Mastercam/NX a plus
