Responsibilities
Work within an integrated product team of Hardware, Software, Systems, and Test Engineers to maintain and update Air Force Flight Simulators
Develop software solutions for flight simulators
Integrate new technologies into various systems
Support requirements analysis, design, development, integration and test of real-time software
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field
Demonstrated proficiency with at least one modern software language such as C++, C, C#, and/or Java (Preferably C++)
Experience with one or more of the following: Python, JavaScript, HTML and Cascading Style Sheet (CSS)
The selected candidate will have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin
U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration
Preferred
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Proficiency in Git Version Control System
Software development on a Linux environment
Experience with JIRA and Confluence
Automation with Ansible
Experience with Vue Java Script (VueJS)
Experience with any of the following: flight simulation, aerodynamics modelling, weapons, avionics, electronic warfare, radar
