Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain evaluation dashboards to monitor and assess the performance of control and active safety algorithms
Write and optimize Databricks SQL queries to extract, process, and analyze large datasets relevant to vehicle controls and safety features
Collaborate with algorithm, software, and data engineering teams to define evaluation metrics and reporting requirements
Automate data pipelines and reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of evaluation results
Present findings and insights to cross-functional teams to support feature development and validation
Troubleshoot data and dashboard issues, ensuring high reliability and accuracy

Required

Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with over 3 years of direct industry experience as a software engineer in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or other real-time, safety-critical environments
Strong proficiency in modern C++, Python, and experience with ML frameworks, along with experience applying large-scale software engineering best practices
Experience with Databricks, SQL, and dashboard development (e.g., Tableau, or similar tools)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Experience applying machine learning techniques to evaluate and analyze the performance of controls software in real-world or simulated environments
Familiarity with automotive control systems and active safety algorithms is a plus
Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining systems with core AWS services (such as S3, EC2, Lambda), and a solid understanding of cloud-native architecture
Familiarity with autonomous systems development, including perception, planning, or control, or related fields such as robotics, simulation, or verification and validation
Demonstrated ability to systematically debug and identify root causes of issues
