Apogee is offering an exciting opportunity for a Database Application Programmer to support mission-critical software modernization for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center and US Strategic Command. Responsibilities
Lead business systems analysis efforts to support J56 defense operations, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with mission-critical requirements
Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions with defense program managers, logistics teams, and operational units to capture evolving needs
Analyze and document complex business processes unique to defense support functions, driving improvements in efficiency and accountability
Coordinate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure all system changes meet strict defense, security, and regulatory standards
Oversee integration of defense support systems with allied and joint-force platforms, ensuring interoperability and data consistency
Develop and manage test plans, including scenario-based testing that reflects real-world defense operational environments
Provide timely reporting and impact assessments to leadership, supporting informed decision-making and mission readiness
Qualification
Required
Must be a US citizen
Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 10 years relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years supporting the DoD
