Senior Accounting Automation Analyst

Caliber Holdings LLC is seeking a Senior Accounting Automation Analyst. The role involves designing and implementing automation solutions to enhance financial processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing training on automation tools.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed walkthroughs with cross-departmental stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements
Design, develop, and implement automation solutions, utilizing Power Query for Excel, Microsoft PowerBI, and Microsoft Power Automate, to enhance financial processes that align with user specifications
Document processes, procedures, and workflows ensuring clarity and consistency
Lead meetings and collaborate with various departments to drive automation initiatives
Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and stress testing of automation tools
Conduct trainings with key stakeholders on how internally developed tools are intended to work
Maintain and update existing automation tools, ensuring they operate as intended
Provide training and support to end-users on automation tools and processes

Required

Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage stakeholders, and drive results
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Business Intelligence are preferable
A background in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required
Prior experience with Workday is a plus, but not required
Proficiency in SQL is a plus, but not required
Proficiency with VBA is a plus, but not required
Proficiency with Python is a plus, but not required
