Responsibilities

Lead and manage our highly motivated Process Engineering team to perform to its best
Provide oversight and direction to the team and keep them on track to meet our department goals
Foster the team’s expertise, methods, knowledge and spirit of teamwork
Encourage the use of simulation to predict conditions and results whenever possible (thermal and stress and fatigue simulation to name a few…)
Coach the team to utilize statistical data analyzing software like JMP or similar and plot their DoE results to be able to make data based decisions
Coach, support and contribute where needed and make sure the team targets are being met, hire when necessary
Contribute and deliver inputs to the Assembly Equipment Roadmap
Challenge and motivate your team to go beyond boundaries to innovate and lead by example
Besides leading your team, you should have the bandwidth and energy to manage a technology development project

Required

BS or Equivalent with 10+ yrs experience with relevant coursework in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar
5+ years of experience in leading a team in a (Technology) development environment
Expertise in RF Power Assembly as well as basic understanding of RF amplifier technology
Experienced in managing the team with excellent leadership skills
Project Management with a track record in technology development projects
In depth Knowledge of all Assembly (solders, eutectic, …) and Packaging Materials (ceramic, metal flanges, plating, …), organic materials (glues and sintering pastes, …) and PCB materials in the use for high frequency and power applications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Multi-tasking capable and have ability to perform under pressure and stay within the timeline
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to details
Excellent communication skills in English language – written and spoken
Hands on experience on engineering methods such as FMEA/DFMEA/PFMEA, SPC, Pareto Analysis, Control Charts, 8D methodology and DoE to lead the team
Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered for this position

Preferred

PhD with 6 years or Masters with 8 years
PM Certification
3D modelling software and simulation tools (thermal and stress simulation e.g. ANSYS, SolidWorks)
