Responsibilities
Work with the data engineer to design, develop, and maintain efficient data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines within ClickHouse for complex healthcare datasets (claims, clinical, EMR, operational)
Write complex, high-performance SQL queries and ClickHouse functions to extract, transform, and load data for reporting and analytics
Utilize Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) for data cleaning, transformation, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and automation of BI tasks
Create intuitive, interactive, and scalable dashboards and reports using BI tools ( Power BI) to visualize KPIs for clinical, financial, and operational stakeholders
Translate stakeholder needs into actionable BI solutions that support quality measurement, risk stratification, care gap analysis, and operational bottlenecks
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security; implement data governance best practices
Partner with clinicians, operational leaders, IT, and other SMEs to gather requirements, provide training, and deliver data-driven insights
Perform deep-dive analyses to answer critical business questions and support strategic decision-making
Qualification
Required
3+ years in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field, with significant experience in healthcare data
Expert proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Proven experience with ClickHouse (performance tuning, data modeling)
Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis
Skill in designing intuitive, professional visualizations with BI visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR), claims processing, EMR data, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA)
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and ability to translate complex data into clear narratives
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related quantitative field
Preferred
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
