Responsibilities
Own relationships with manufacturing partners in China and India, ensuring production capacity, quality standards, cost targets, and timelines are met
Coordinate manufacturing schedules to align with sales demand forecasts and product launch timelines
Lead vendor performance management, including KPIs, quality metrics, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with Product and Engineering on design changes, BOM updates, and manufacturability considerations
Translate sales demand forecasts into actionable production and inventory plans
Ensure appropriate inventory levels across finished goods and components by establishing and managing inventory targets, safety stock levels, and replenishment strategies to support growth while minimizing excess and obsolescence
Partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Business Operations to continuously refine forecasting accuracy
Lead procurement strategy for components and materials including managing supplier sourcing, pricing negotiations, contracts, and lead times
Mitigate supply risk through alternate sourcing strategies and proactive supplier management, including monitoring global supply market trends and assessing potential impacts to cost or availability
Build scalable supply chain processes, controls, and reporting as the organization grows
Identify and mitigate operational risks related to supply disruption, geopolitical factors, or logistics constraints and develop contingency plans to protect business continuity
Ensure compliance with regulatory, customs, and import/export requirements
Act as a strategic partner to Sales, Product, Implementation, Finance, and Customer Experience providing data informed visibility into supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities
Lead and develop internal team members and external partners through effective onboarding, mentoring, and accountability
Use data and performance metrics to proactively inform decision-making
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Supply chain, operations or related field
8+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or manufacturing leadership roles
3 years of leadership/management experience
Direct experience managing global manufacturing partners, preferably in Asia (China and/or India)
Strong background in demand planning, inventory management, and procurement
Experience overseeing 3PLs, warehouses, and shipping carriers
Proven ability to operate in a fast-growing, operationally complex environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Respectful and outstanding leadership skills that motivate colleagues to focus their energy on achieving business goals
Ability to plan and manage both strategic and tactical operational levels. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies
Strong analytical, planning, and budgeting skills. Ability to influence others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 10%); will include some overnight travel
Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)
Preferred
Experience with consumer electronics, hardware, or device manufacturing
Familiarity with ERP, inventory management systems, and forecasting tools
Experience supporting regulated industries or high-reliability service environments
Prior experience scaling supply chain operations during periods of rapid growth
