Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research to identify relevant grant opportunities from federal, state, local, and private sources that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, ensuring they are clear, compelling, and adhere to the guidelines and priorities of funding agencies
Work closely with program directors, finance teams, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information, develop budgets, and ensure project feasibility within proposals
Maintain an organized database of grant proposals, deadlines, and funding status updates to ensure timely submissions and follow-up actions
Track and report on grant application progress and outcomes. Ensure that all grant activities are compliant with applicable regulations and funding requirements
Regularly review grant announcements and funding opportunities, and notify relevant staff of potential new funding sources
Prepare interim and final reports for funders to detail how funds have been used and project outcomes as required

Strong background in research
