Responsibilities
Definition and adoption of GM MFG AI capabilities
Identify opportunities to update and/or streamline the current AI and GM Robotics Engineering processes together with Manufacturing Engineering SMEs
Define and develop ML solutions in real-world environments
Computer Vision solutions in real-world environments
Ability to digest, design and deploy solutions based on research artifacts
Simulation
Data Visualization
Designing solutions at scale (minimize operational overhead)
End to end understanding of systems and interfaces, so solutions can be built to fit within constraints
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Data Science
In-depth Knowledge and experience with software development
In-depth experience designing, training, testing and deploying deep learning models for vision applications
In-depth experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and/or Keras
10+ years of software engineering experience
10+ years of AI, ML, and/or data science experience
In-depth Experience with Ops, MLOps and/or LLMOps
Preferred
PhD
Publications
In-depth knowledge of ML fundamentals
Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying ML solutions for real world applications
Experience in Cloud Technologies such as Docker, K8, and more generically on HPC platforms
Knowledge in Java/C#, Python, SQL, C/C++
Strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside the box
