Mechanical Engineer - Calspan JETS 2026 Internship

Structural/Mechanical design of mechanical systems/subsystems
Checking drawings developed by Designer
Performing hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis
Documenting calculations for future reference
Qualification
Required

Must be currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering program at an accredited college or university
Due to security requirements, this position requires U.S. citizenship
Preferred
Knowledge of Engineering Statics and Dynamics
CAD Modeling
Experience with Finite Element Analysis would be a plus
Strong problem-solving skills
Must be motivated and have a strong desire to learn
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in team environment
