Responsibilities

Build and scale a Python-based streaming platform capable of handling thousands of concurrent calls
Integrate with third-party voice/video platforms (e.g., Vonage) to: Plug into live interpretation sessions, Retrieve and process real-time audio streams
Develop services that: Capture audio streams, Send audio to speech-to-text platforms, Receive and manage transcription data in real time
Provide full conversation transcripts to interpreters and downstream systems
Enable AI-driven workflows, such as: Automatically generating summaries when an interpreter’s shift ends, Supporting future AI features built on top of the platform
Serve as a foundational contributor to a platform that will be expanded and enhanced over multiple years
