Help Desk Technician

They are seeking a proactive and collaborative Help Desk Technician to provide technical support and assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and other technical issues, ensuring a high level of customer service to maintain smooth IT operations.

Responsibilities

Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a timely manner
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and other desktop equipment/accessories
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary
Document all support requests, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system
Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setup and equipment provisioning
Maintain knowledge of company IT policies and ensure compliance
Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT functions and best practices

Required

1–2 years of experience in technical support or help desk environment
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and remote support tools
Experience troubleshooting laptop/PC hardware

Preferred

Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Familiarity with Exchange, Entra and Intune administration
Familiarity with Zoom, MS Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
A+ Certification
ITIL Foundations Certification
