InternFirst Financial Bank NA is a dynamic financial institution looking for an IT Intern to gain hands-on experience in IT. The intern will provide IT support, assist with software installations, manage user accounts, and support various IT projects while documenting processes and activities.

Responsibilities
Provide IT Support: Assist with troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues, responding to user support tickets, and guiding employees through IT procedures
Install & Update Software: Help install, configure, and update software applications on workstations while documenting installation procedures for future reference
Manage User Accounts: Support account setup, modifications, and deactivations for systems like Active Directory and Office 365, including password resets and access issues
Set Up & Maintain Hardware: Assist with setting up new computers, printers, and other peripherals, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring equipment is properly inventoried
Support IT Projects: Assist in various IT initiatives, including office moves, hardware refreshes, and system upgrades, as well as software and hardware testing
Maintain IT Documentation: Document IT processes, update knowledge base articles, and prepare reports on IT activities, asset updates, and troubleshooting solutions
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Basic knowledge of operating systems, networking, and cybersecurity principles
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with the IT team
Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday
Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet)
Ability to commute to the primary work location and occasionally to other work locations within driving distance
Preferred
Prior IT support experience or technical certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) is a plus
