Responsibilities
Work with people across the division to identify data analytic and business intelligence needs, define requirements, curate and translate data, design, and deliver data analytics in visual tools such as Tableau
Assist leadership with data-driven insights to improve decision making with informed and educated analysis
Researches, analyzes, and compiles technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle
Applies systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to the design of the data analytics foundation and delivered products
Derives and develops architectures, functional requirements, refinements, and product designs
Assists in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks, and specialty engineering considerations into data analytics products
Interfaces with other members of the project or program teams, management and customers to meet group, organization and company objectives
Performs technical planning and control; maintains and improves processes and software tools
Rigorously documents the data analytic system infrastructure, data flow, processes, system connections, and delivery approaches and implementation
Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and industry best practices
Trains and instructs others
Works under general direction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher
5 or more years of related experience
Experience functioning in a cross-functional environment
Proven experience in business operations, program management, or related fields
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to coordinate complex projects and engage multiple stakeholders
Experience in developing Tableau Dashboards or similar equivalents
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Preferred
Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
Experience with ADO and agile methodologies
Experience with Oracle, Teradata or Toad
