Responsibilities

Supports the commissioning of multiple projects and other design and engineering initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards

Provides expert input for contract administration including generation and review of contracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents

Communicates across teams to help secure the budget and resources required for timely project completion

Builds relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to communicate expectations and ensure reports on project updates are provided

Develops commissioning scripts and related technical documentation

Collaborates with the general contractor to develop Systems Manuals documentation to serve as a reference for Data Center Operations personnel

Collaborates with engineering teams to create data center designs and specifications that align to operations and reliability requirements (e.g., power capacity, cooling systems), ensuring electrical and mechanical critical systems (e.g., electrical and mechanical plant, life safety, fire suppression systems, and control systems) are incorporated

Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) throughout systems testing to identify and report on trends and anomalies

Resolves moderately complex, non-routine issues with implementing mechanical and electrical systems

Identifies common and repeating cases of issues and escalates to leads

Applies best practices to troubleshoot and mitigate issues and reduce recurrence by aligning with major stakeholders

Understands quality and safety standards and prioritizes safety throughout project lifecycle

Contributes to developing training programs for teams to ensure alignment on safety standards

Stays up to date on industry standards and best practices

Ensures external stakeholders and vendors maintain compliance with quality and safety guidelines

Reports safety and security issues as they arise

Manages and coordinates moderately complex tasks, monitoring timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion and adherence to requirements for a moderately-sized project or initiative

Efficiently delegates, monitors, and prioritizes work across multiple projects, providing technical oversight and adjusting plans to address shifts in resources or timelines

Collaborates across the organization to align on expectations and achieve shared objectives

Leverages understanding of business leaders, stakeholders, and/or customers to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs

Supports inclusivity by actively seeking and listening to diverse perspectives, ensuring others feel heard and respected

Identifies and addresses moderately complex issues by analyzing a wide range of data and/or information to identify solutions in accordance with standard practices
