Responsibilities
Participate in a summer program designed to increase knowledge and provide hands-on experiences that promote employment readiness
Navigate an application process designed to mimic ‘real world’ application experiences
Receive education through the Life Skills Workshop component that will focus on teaching employment skills including proper attire and appearance, presentation, timeliness, interaction with coworkers, verbal and nonverbal communication, job commitment, phone, and social media interactions
Prepare a presentation outlining learning experiences during the program
Write thank-you cards to County department heads expressing gratitude for the opportunity of hands-on experience
Qualification
Required
High School Student aged 14-18 during the 2025/26 School Year (can be a rising freshman)
Live and attend school in Liberty County, GA
Minimum GPA of 2.5
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Committed to attend all five (5) weeks of the program
