Lead Academic Advisement Systems Analyst
The California State University is seeking a highly experienced professional for the role of Lead Academic Advisement Systems Analyst. This position serves as the subject-matter expert for academic advisement systems, overseeing system configuration, testing, and maintenance while providing leadership to the analyst team.

Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and test degree audit and degree planner systems to ensure accurate modeling of academic requirements
Interpret and encode complex curriculum, General Education, and CSU/Title 5 policies into advising systems
Lead and coordinate the Academic Advisement Systems Analyst team, including assigning work and managing priorities
Oversee annual curriculum updates and system enhancements
Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT to resolve technical problems
Provide training and consultation to faculty and staff on academic advisement systems
Support campus partners in implementing curriculum changes and improving student degree progress tools
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree and/or equivalent training
Six (6) years of administrative work experience involving study, analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices, or programs
Preferred
An earned baccalaureate degree
Minimum of 8 years of experience working in higher education interpreting degree requirements as a graduation evaluator, academic advisor, curriculum specialist, or other related professional positions
Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules such as Student Records, Curriculum Management, and the Academic Advising module; other comparable Student Information System software will be considered
Minimum Five (5) years of experience in encoding degree progress audit logic, preferably in the PeopleSoft Academic Advisement module or in College Source uAchieve
Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for a program, process, or system
Experience working with Title V and California State University curriculum policies, including General Education
