Responsibilities

Operate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain utilities equipment
Monitor, maintain, and improve the reliability and performance of utility systems
Perform work order repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, replacements, and adjustments, including complete documentation
Manage and coordinate work performed by contractors
Fabricate, modify, and innovate new or existing equipment to improve performance and reliability
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure good housekeeping standards
Collaborate with team members to plan, analyze, and improve process quality
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with utilities equipment such as chillers, boilers, compressed air systems, and HVAC
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and general computer applications
5–7 years maintenance and troubleshooting experience with industrial mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Ability to navigate Building Management Systems (BMS) and utilize trends/data for troubleshooting
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create detailed reports
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and drawings
Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Preferred

Post‑secondary education or technical trade certification
EPA 608 Type II or Type III Refrigerant Handling Certification
Boiler Operator certification
Industrial Refrigeration (Ammonia) certification
Experience with precision maintenance tools and techniques (lubrication, alignments, vibration, ultrasound, etc.)
