The Municipality of Anchorage is seeking an Engineering Technician I to work in the Traffic Engineering department. This temporary full-time position involves responsibilities related to drafting, surveying, inspection, and materials testing, among other related fields.

Responsibilities
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Eighteen months experience in one or more of the following fields: drafting, surveying, inspection, materials testing, plan review, permitting, computerized mapping, computer assisted design (CAD), traffic signal control, code enforcement, customer service representative, and/or a related field
Must possess a valid State of Alaska Driver's License with satisfactory driving record at time of hire
Satisfactory Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) background check within 6 months of hire
Qualification
Required
