Senior Logistics Manager- Special Projects

They are seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to develop and perform logistics management operations, ensuring that logistical actions align with program plans and schedules.

Responsibilities
Identifying requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program
Analyzing requirements to ensure it matches program plans and schedules
Creating program and LCM plans to ensure logistics requirements are adequately defined and executed
Reviewing contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with logistics requirements and contracts
Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase to include disposal phase
Possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team
Extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes IAW the DoD 5000 series instructions
Extensive experience with DoD Logistics applications such as Reliability & Maintainability Information System (REMIS), BLADE, PIEE, DPAS, and other supply chain and logistics online management systems
Knowledge of the DoD’s integrated product support element structure
Familiarity with the Product Support Business Case Analysis and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan processes
Familiarity with accomplishing a Logistics Health Assessment
Knowledge of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook
Ability to lead a project team in completing complex projects
Knowledge of agency program planning, funding, and management information systems
Broad knowledge of the organization and functions of activities involved in providing logistical support
Ability to coordinate and evaluate the efforts of functional specialists to identify specific requirements and to develop and adjust plans and schedules for the actions needed to meet each requirement on time
The paramount qualification requirement is the ability to integrate the separate functions in planning or implementing a logistics management program
Provide expert logistics input on Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statement of Work (SOW), PWS and Contract Data Requirements Listing (CDRLs)
Provide logistics analytical support for key logistics metrics (supply, reliability, maintainability, reliability, etc.) and provide them to key logistics reviews
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in DoD acquisition
Or, bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in DoD acquisition
Or, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in DoD acquisition
Experience with Defense Acquisition System processes as a Logistics Manager including UCA, MTA, MCA, SW Acquisition and Acquisition of Services
Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning during each phase to include disposal phase

Defense Acquisition University (DAU) credential program, CACQ 010 Foundational Acquisition Intelligence Credential
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP), any level
A degree or certificate in LCM, Product LCM, or related field from any University or learning institute accredited by a U.S. Department of Education approved accrediting organization
