Responsibilities
Manage our server clusters and keep services running for both technical and non-tech users
Ensure the uptime of Ivy’s computers, servers, customer-facing applications, and internet
System maintenance and configuration such as installing and troubleshooting hardware and software
Perform daily checks of all infrastructure
Complete upgrades
Automate alerts and logs
Ensure our data is backed up
Recover data when needed
Audit and address cyber security gaps
Qualification
Required
Highly proficient in Linux and Windows Operating Systems
ProxMox or equivalent hypervisors
Advanced Network Infrastructure Management (Segmentation, VLANS) including firewall deployment and management, layer 3 switch configuration/management
Active Directory implementation and administration
NFS, Self-hosted DNS and self-hosted email server management (Postfix/Dovecot)
MariaDB database management, preferred but not mandatory
Experienced seeing large, intricate projects through to their completion
Able to demonstrate a proven history of maintaining and administering a complex network environment
Highly organized, with great attention to detail
Excellent at recognizing and identifying current and potential future problems, researching options, and working together with a team to implement effective solutions
Interested in finding ways to automate repetitive tasks to make processes more efficient
Ability to work and play well with others
