This role involves managing all aspects of the portal and guiding the development team to provide expert-level solutions for complex business needs.

Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert to manage all aspects of the BUMED operational SharePoint/Microsoft 365/application environment
Lead the development, configuration, customization, and maintenance of BUMED HQ SharePoint/Web, Microsoft 365, and other applications (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow)
Design and develop complex pages, sites, lists, forms, and workflows based on stakeholder business needs
Propose and implement changes to make the SharePoint environment and web applications more effective solutions
Ensure all development complies with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) SharePoint environment requirements
Maintain current industry knowledge of advanced development concepts, best practices, and procedures (SharePoint Framework, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
Ensure all source code is considered the property of BUMED and is available on government IT systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other computing-related disciplines
At least seven (7) years of experience with applications development
CompTIA Security+ certification
Microsoft SharePoint Application certification
Salesforce certification
Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification requirements
Extensive experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 development, with a portfolio of complex projects
Expert-level knowledge of SharePoint Framework, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must possess a minimum of an active Secret security clearance
