Responsibilities
Effective and efficient management of IT projects
Manage and ensure the successful delivery of an IT project in either an iterative, incremental, parallel, or time-boxed manner
Manages and ensures the performance of role-specific tasks, including project, time, resource, and budget management, scope management, schedule management, risk management
Manages and ensures the coordination on contracts and contracts management and oversight
Qualification

Must be a US Citizen
Must complete a background investigation and fingerprint check
You may be subject to serve a one-year probationary period
Education cannot be substituted for experience for this position and grade level
One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-12 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: Experience in addressing organizational challenges while using project management tools and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in providing direction to integrated technical teams in the delivery of mission critical programs
Experience in leading teams and projects associated with the development or implementation of information technology (IT) applications
Experience in communicating with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
You must possess IT related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (e.g., IT certification), as appropriate) demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (i.e., any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services
Oral Communication - Expresses information (e.g., ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (e.g., technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately
Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations
Knowledge of Project Management principles sufficient to lead and coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders
Ability to deliver mission-critical initiatives that support organizational objectives by applying project management tools and techniques
Skills in leading teams and managing programs or projects related to IT application development, including mission-critical enterprise applications and organization-wide IT initiatives
Ability to develop acquisition artifacts required to support ongoing system operations
