Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience in enterprise production environments
2+ years of experience with at least two of: DB2, MongoDB, Sybase
Experience managing mission-critical databases supporting 24/7 operations
Experience with database migrations and consolidation projects
Oracle Database (Expert Level)
Versions: Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, 21c (11g/12c legacy support, 19c/21c primary)
High Availability: RAC (11g/12c/19c), Data Guard (Physical/Logical), Active Data Guard, GoldenGate
Backup & Recovery: RMAN (expert), Flashback technologies, PITR, Incremental backups
Performance Tuning: AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL Tuning Advisor, SQL Plan Management, Execution Plans
PL/SQL: Advanced PL/SQL programming, stored procedures, packages, triggers
Architecture: Multitenant (CDB/PDB), ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Net Services
Security: TDE, Database Vault, Label Security, Advanced Security, Audit Vault
Partitioning: Range, List, Hash, Composite partitioning strategies
Enterprise Manager: OEM Cloud Control 13c, monitoring, patching, provisioning
Exadata: Experience with Oracle Exadata Database Machine (preferred)
Cloud: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Autonomous Database (preferred)
IBM DB2 (Intermediate Level)
DB2 for Linux/Unix/Windows (v10.5, v11.x)
DB2 HADR configuration and management
DB2 backup and recovery (BACKUP, RESTORE, ROLLFORWARD)
DB2 performance monitoring (db2top, db2pd, snapshot monitoring)
DB2 RUNSTATS, REORG, and maintenance
DB2 SQL optimization and explain plans
DB2 connection management and troubleshooting
DB2 BLU Acceleration (columnar storage) awareness
