Responsibilities
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and staff accountants
Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
Maintain the general ledger and supporting subledgers
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
Support financial reporting to executive leadership and the Board
Assist with quarterly earnings and SEC reporting (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K)
Support internal controls and SOX compliance
Coordinate external audit activities
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Improve accounting processes and leverage automation tools
Develop and mentor accounting team members
Perform special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Experience with financial reporting and internal controls
Leadership experience managing small teams
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems
Preferred
CPA preferred
Public company and/or public accounting experience preferred
