Developing and implementing AI solutions tailored to meet specific business requirements while ensuring optimal performance and scalability
Leading efforts to create robust AI systems that effectively address customer needs and align with strategic business goals
Building ESB interfaces using the open-source tool Pentaho Kettle and using Azure Cloud services
Developing and deploying Mendix low-code solutions, which are deployed in a Private Cloud (Azure)
Upholding stringent security protocols and ensuring compliance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and organizational policies
Thoroughly documenting methodologies, models, and results to ensure consistency, transparency, and ease of understanding for all stakeholders
Communicating insights, findings, and technical details clearly across teams to facilitate informed decision-making and promote a culture of shared knowledge
Leading modernization of county-wide enterprise systems using Azure services and secure integration patterns
Design intelligent workflows by integrating AI capabilities into existing systems, focusing on low-code/no-code approaches where applicable
Architect and modernization of solutions using cloud services: Develop and modernize the current Enterprise Service Architecture with Azure Cloud solutions designed to meet specific business needs while ensuring optimal performance and scalability
Drive the Development of Scalable AI Capabilities: Lead efforts to create robust AI systems that effectively address customer needs while aligning with strategic business goals
End-to-End Model Lifecycle Management: Design, test, and deploy AI models, including LLMs, with a focus on creating reliable pipelines for both batch and real-time data processing
Integrate Cutting-Edge Technologies using Low Code Platform: Enhance/migrate existing applications that are developed using legacy technologies into the Low Code Platform using emerging low code technologies such as Mendix (Cloud Based Platform), Power Platform, etc
Foster Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay informed on the latest advancements in AI, driving ongoing improvements in methodologies and incorporating innovative practices throughout the organization
Assess the current system integrations and modernize them by utilizing the latest technological advancements: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of current systems to assess their effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with business goals, pinpointing optimization opportunities, and modernizing legacy applications with advanced solutions
Ensure Security and Compliance Standards: Uphold stringent security protocols and ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices, maintaining compliance with organizational policies
Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Document methodologies, models, and results thoroughly, ensuring consistency, transparency, and ease of understanding for all stakeholders
Facilitate Knowledge Sharing and Decision-Making: Communicate insights, findings, and technical details clearly across teams, enabling informed decision-making and fostering a culture of shared knowledge
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years of professional experience in the information technology field in areas such as programming, systems analysis, and data/telecommunications
At least five (5) years of experience in Integration and Development Tools: Pentaho Kettle, OpenJDK, MuleSoft, Programming in .NET, Python, and Java
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including: Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Kubernetes Service (AKS), Machine Learning, AI Search, MCP, Azure DevOps, and Enterprise GitHub
Experience using LLM model APIs such as OpenAI, Ollama, and Anthropic
Familiarity with orchestration frameworks like LangChain
Competence in prompt engineering for applications including conversational AI, content generation, and summarization
Strong understanding of dialog management and agent workflow patterns
Proficiency in Mendix Platform for low-code application development
Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation and data analysis
Skilled in using Copilot Studio and AI Builder to create chatbots and integrate AI into low-code solutions
Ability to design AI-powered workflows to enhance operational efficiency
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university
Preferred
Demonstrated experience in modernizing enterprise architecture using Azure Cloud solutions, aligning with specific business needs while ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security
Strong Hands-on Experience With Azure Services, Including Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Data Factory, Kubernetes Service (AKS), Machine Learning, AI Search, MCP, Azure DevOps / Enterprise GitHub
Proficiency in Python for developing AI-driven applications
Experience enhancing or migrating existing applications, leveraging low-code platforms such as Mendix and Microsoft Power Platform
Proven experience migrating on-premises platforms and interfaces to Azure Cloud, utilizing services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Synapse, and related Azure technologies
Ability to maintain and enhance existing messaging solutions
Familiarity with multi-agent systems for solving complex problems using generative AI integrated with external knowledge bases
