Sales Engineer
Volkmann, Inc. is a world leading bulk powder handling systems and machinery supplier, and they are seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales in a defined U.S. territory. The Sales Engineer will provide technical expertise, develop customized solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Responsible for sales of Volkmann industrial systems in a defined U.S. territory, meeting company sales goals and objectives
Providing technical expertise in promoting, demonstrating, and selling Volkmann products
Consulting with clients to understand their specific needs
Developing customized solutions
Providing technical support during all stages of the sales process
Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Sales Engineering and Technical Support to provide solutions tailored to customer requirements
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with clients and maintain long-term relationships
Minimum of 5 years of technical B2B sales experience with proven success
Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or comparable CRM) for pipeline, forecasting, and deal management
Proven ability to maintain accurate CRM data and follow structured sales processes
Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in Sales and the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred
Experience selling powder handling equipment and/or process machinery is a plus
BS in Engineering or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to pneumatic conveying systems is a plus
