Responsibilities

Work with a mentor to develop cutting edge radar signal processing and analysis algorithms for National Defense
Work with a mentor to research cutting edge algorithms for radar noise reduction, detection, and characterization
Work with a mentor to conduct radar data analysis
Create efficient implementations in software
Document results
Work collegially within a talented team of peers

Qualification

Required

BS degree in physics, engineering, mathematics, or related field
Interest in scientific algorithm development, large dataset analysis, radar detection and characterization, and efficient software implementation
Good analytical and mathematical skills
Demonstrated experience in MATLAB, Python, or similar high-level language
Interested in innovation, problem solving, and achieving technical results
Ability and desire to learn new concepts
Able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance

Preferred

Some Experience with Radar data processing
Some Experience programming in C/C++
Ability to document work
