Responsibilities
Review and evaluate managerial policies and procedures to determine gaps where additional guidance is needed and analyzes the impact of proposed legislation on agency operations
Compile data and prepare complex administrative and management reports that emanate from the Department or high echelons in the organization
Serve as analyst and advisor to management on the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization on acquisition-related management and administrative regulations, guidelines and processes
Provide leadership, guidance and supervision to the procurement operations of multiple HHS programs

Appointment will be subject to the applicant's successful completion of a background security investigation and favorable adjudication

All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date
Probationary (or trial) period may be required
You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position
Specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Applies qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to assess administrative operations and program performance
Identifies inefficiencies in administrative operations and develops recommendations to improve program effectiveness and operational performance
Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders on action items, inquiries, and correspondence
Researches and analyzes issues and tracks action items through resolution to ensure completion of assigned deliverables
